The Three Rivers Teaching School Alliance led by The King Edward VI School is pleased to announce that our highly successful NQT & RQT training programme will be running again in 2019/20.
Research shows that the first few years of teacher development are the most crucial. That’s why our highly supportive Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) and Recently Qualified Teacher (RQT) programme aims to develop knowledge, understanding and confidence, supporting NQT and RQT's with a range practical strategies and techniques to help them survive the first year of teaching.
The programme comprises of professional learning aimed at providing support and guidance for newly and recently qualified secondary teachers (NQTs and RQTs) and will include sessions on:
All sessions engage with the latest research from sources such as the EEF and BERA and will give delegates take-away tools that they can apply in their own teaching practice the very next day. In each twilight there are opportunities for delegates to talk and share best practice with colleagues from across the region.
2019/20 dates and times to be confirmed.
As well as providing continued support in the form of relevant practical and useful professional development opportunities the programme will also provide participants with invaluable opportunities to network with other NQTs and RQTs across the region.
