How to Apply

If you think you would like to train to be a teacher with The Three Rivers Teaching School Alliance and decide that the School Direct route is for you then please visit the websites below for further advice and guidance on how and when to apply:

Applications can only be made through the UCAS website from the end of October. Prospective trainees need to register for the application process. Once you have registered and received your personal ID number, you will need to complete an online application, which requires an application fee.

You will be required to submit the following information:

The interview process will consist of planning and teaching a 20 minute lesson, a short presentation and an individual interview.

As we are recruiting to a number of schools, there may be a number of headteachers and teachers on the interview panel.

You will be informed via UCAS if you have been successful. We will then contact you to inform you about your placement at a named school.

If you are successful in your training, there is the possibility that you may be employed the following year as a newly qualified teacher in one of the schools in the partnership, depending on vacancies.
