The Three Rivers Teaching School Alliance is pleased to announce the delivery of our NQT Primary Training Programme 2017 led by our alliance partners Abbeyfields First School Morpeth.
Research shows that the first few years of teacher development are the most crucial. That’s why our highly supportive Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) programme aims to develop knowledge, understanding and confidence, supporting NQT’s with a range of practical strategies and techniques to help them survive the first year of teaching.
The programme comprises of an introductory session (mentor training) in September followed by five twilight sessions of professional learning aimed at providing support and guidance for newly and recently qualified primary teachers (NQTs and RQTs) and will include sessions on:
All sessions will be held at Abbeyfields First School Morpeth
As well as providing continued support in the form of relevant practical and useful professional development opportunities the programme will also provide participants with invaluable opportunities to network with other NQTs and RQTs across the region.
